Quiz-o-maniaA Technical Quiz Competition, September 18, 2024 Location: CSE Seminar Hall, SIT Quiz-O-Mania, a thrilling technical quiz competition. The event brought together teams eager to showcase their technical knowledge in a competitive yet engaging atmosphere. Around 35+ Teams took part in the competition from various departments. The event was graced by our Hon’ble Principal Dr. Mithun Chakaraborty and Head of the Departments. The competition unfolded across three rounds.The event was a grand success, highlighting the talent and enthusiasm of the participants. |

Code bites 4.0A thrilling coding competition, September 25, 2024 Location: Programming Lab 1 With the success of previous 3 editions of Code Bites, the Computer Engineers' Society hosted Code Bites 4.0, an exhilarating coding competition with participation extending across various departments. Chief Guest: Dr. Mithun Chakraborty, Principal The competition was hosted on HackerRank-online coding platform, where participants were challenged with carefully curated problem statements, tested against a set time limit. The event concluded with a celebration of excellence: Top 10 Coders were awarded with mementos and certificates, recognizing their outstanding performance. All attendees received participation certificates and goodies as a token of appreciation for their enthusiasm and effort. |

Road Map to ProgramingAn Engaging Session for Aspiring Coders, September 29, 2024 Recently hosted an interactive online workshop "Roadmap to Programming", exclusively for 1st-year B.Tech students, the session aimed to ignite their enthusiasm for coding and provide a clear vision for starting their programming journey. The session included a hands-on segment on C programming, offering participants a foundational understanding of programming concepts and problem-solving techniques. To further motivate the budding programmers, a small giveaway was organised, inspiring them into the world of coding. Additionally, all attendees received e-certificates as a token of their participation. |

Industry Induced International WorkshopAn Inspiring Alumni Session and Webinar, November 8, 2024 CES proudly hosted an online workshop “Industry Induced International Workshop.” The session featured our distinguished alumni and speaker Sreyashi Das, Senior Data Engineer at Netflix from California,USA. She shared her incredible journey from being a student to becoming an integral part of one of the world’s leading tech companies. The session was on Data Modelling in Machine Learning which offered attendees a foundational understanding of the topic, blending technical knowledge with real-world applications and with interactive Q&A sessions. It also featured a quiz session, where participants had the chance to win exciting giveaways. All attendees were awarded e-certificates, making the event both enriching and rewarding. |

30 Days Programming ChallengeLearn to Code, Unlock Your Potential !, October 2, 2024 Computer Engineers’ Society organised the 30 Days Programming Challenge, an initiative for 1st-year B.Tech students with hands-on programming and problem-solving skills.The participants were provided 1 question for 30 days from different topics of coding . The challenge fostered a passion for coding among the participants, encouraging them to explore and improve their problem-solving abilities.The winners of the challenge were felicitated with mementos and certificates by the Head of Departments. The program was a resounding success, motivating the students to continue their coding journey and preparing them for future challenges in the tech world. |
