1. Induction Programme for 1^st year ECE students organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SIT on 20^th July, 2018.
2. Extempore Competition & Group presentation organized for 2^nd year ECE students on 4^th Aug, 2018.
3. Mock Aptitude Test for pre-final year students conducted by ECE Dept., SIT on 4^th Aug, 2018.
4. Two Days National Seminar on ‘Application of Modern Control System in Electrical and Electronics Engineering’ jointly organized by the Department of Electronics and communication engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, Siliguri institute of technology on 6^th - 7^th August. Dr. Rajeeb Dey, Assistant Professor, Dept. of EE, NIT Silchar, was invited as the speaker of the seminar.
5. Fresher’s Welcome was conducted for the students of 1^st year ECE students by 2^nd year ECE students on 28^th Aug, 2018.
6. 3^rd year ECE students celebrated Teacher’s Day on 5^th Sep, 2018.
7. An Industrial Visit was organized for the 3^rd year students of ECE dept at BSNL Jalpaiguri from 6^th-7^th Sep, 2018.
8. ‘The Joy of Giving’, A Cloth Donation Drive jointly organized by Department of Electronics and communication engineering and National Service Scheme (NSS) from 10^th-14^th Sep, 2018.
9. Parent Teacher Meet was organized for 2^nd year and 3^rd year students by ECE dept on 15^th Sep, 2018.
10. Workshop on “Fundamentals of Field Effect Transistors” was organized by the Dept of ECE for 2^nd year students from 28^th -29^th Sep, 2018. Prof. Sourav Sarkar, Assistant Professor, School of Material Science, Jadavpur University was invited speaker for the workshop.
11. The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Siliguri Institute of Technology is going to organize a one day seminar on “Recent Trends and Technology in Industry” on 17^th November 2018.
